Are you gambling with your health?
Most people think that there’s no difference between One-a-Day, Centrum, GNC, Rite Aid, your supermarket brand, or Shaklee food supplements. As long as the product says it contains the vitamins and minerals recommended by the USDA (and their doctor says they’re all the same), they buy it, they take it, and they think it’s making them healthier. However, they still find themselves lacking energy throughout the day, catching every bug that’s going around, or finding that the same headaches keep returning. Why take a vitamin, even if it is “cheaper,” if it makes no difference in your health?
In reality, there’s a monumental difference between nutritional products. So… if you care about your health (and your pocketbook), it’s time to throw out everything you think you know about vitamins and mineral supplements! It’s time to learn the truth!
The fact is, most vitamin/mineral products on the market are synthetic and full of chemicals. According to Dr. Zoltan P. Rona, M.D., “Although most healthy people will have no obvious side effects from ingesting small amounts of toxins found in cheap vitamins, the long term consequences of continuous, daily intakes are potentially dangerous.”
When you eat a naturally grown fruit, vegetable, nut or grain, you’re getting a complex variety of known and unknown vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and other factors that all work together to build and maintain your health. Nature pairs nutritional co-factors such as vitamin E and selenium that work synergistically in the body. Nature balances the B vitamins in foods so that they can be efficiently metabolized by the cells. Nature times the release of nutrients along the digestive tract so that they can be absorbed and utilized instead of wasted. Why is all of this important to you?
Dr. Timothy O’Shea, author of Conventional Medicine Vs. Holistic: A World of Difference, points out: “Vitamins are not individual molecular compounds. Vitamins are biological complexes. They are multi-step biochemical interactions whose action is dependent upon a number of variables within the biological terrain. Vitamin activity only takes place when all conditions are met within that environment, and when all co-factors and components of the entire vitamin complex are present and working together. Vitamin activity also involves timing.
Vitamins cannot be isolated from their complexes and still perform their specific life functions within the cells. When isolated into artificial commercial forms, like ascorbic acid, these purified synthetics act as drugs in the body. They are no longer vitamins, and to call them such is inaccurate.”
Unfortunately, vitamins can be labeled as natural if they contain as little as 10% of the natural form of the vitamin. This means that your “natural” vitamin could contain 90% of synthetically produced chemicals! Don’t be fooled! Take a look at the Shaklee Difference!

Quote from a Mom “The most important part of that difference was the way they made me feel and the effect they had on my health. I switched to Shaklee in the middle of my pregnancy and boy, did I put them to the test! I was busy chasing my firstborn and exhausted by the end of the day. I added in some of Shaklee’s basics and realized after a couple of weeks that I no longer needed that afternoon nap. The next year I switched my children over to Shaklee’s products for kids and noticed remarkable changes in their digestive issues, eczema conditions, behavior and even how healthy they were when the rest of the kids in they were around were getting sick.”
I have been able to introduce Shaklee to multiple friends and they now have similar stories! I’ve even had the pleasure of meeting other Shaklee distributors and hearing their stories of overcoming infertility, battling cancer, IBS, diabetes, heart disease- all in a more natural way. THAT is the Shaklee Difference!!
